The role – and meaning- of resources in design is becoming more visible not less. Recycled or reclaimed material is one classical strategy for more sustainable products – but does it deliver good design results? If not, what options are there? How can the relationship between resources and good design be rethought so that less resources are used overall – for much better results?
The designers and entrepreneurs leading the Pro Dialogue are Eva Karlsson, Houdini Sportswear VD, Olle Lundberg, Lundberg Design, and Michael Lind, Uniforms for the dedicated. They will lead us on an exploration of the challenges and breakthroughs in making quality, effective design align with a new respect for resources.
